About Us

I'm Manny, the founder and craftsman behind Alman Leather Co. Based out of our small workshop in Plano, Illinois, this brand was built on a foundation of raw passion, timeless craftsmanship, and deep family inspiration.

My journey with leather started years ago, watching my grandfather work on saddles and leather goods during my childhood. Those early moments sparked a litelong curiosity that ultimately grew into a dedicated trade. To this day, I am driven by the sensory details of the craft-the rich scent of premium hides, the natural texture under my hands, and the distinct sound of a side of leather rolling out onto the workbench. It's what inspires me every single day.

With over five years of dedicated experience, I design and build heirloom-quality goods-from rugged belts and minimalist wallets to custom patch hats, bags, and everyday accessories. Every single piece is made by hand with uncompromising care and attention to detail.

Beyond the tools and the trade, my wife and kids are my ultimate inspiration. They are the driving force behind everything I build, and the reason I strive to ensure every finished piece carries a legacy of pride, durability, and purpose.
